Welcome to JGSC 2012 The 4th Japanese-German Symposium on Classification will be held in Doshisha University (Kyoto) from March 9-10, 2012. The 1st Japanese-German Symposium on Classification was held on 2005 in Tokyo. Since then, the 2nd German-Japanese Workshop (Berlin, 2006) and the 3rd German-Japanese Workshop (Karlsruhe, 2010) have been actively organized by German and Japanese researchers in classification and related fields. The research papers of the 1st and the 2nd symposium were published in a book entitled 'Studies in Classification, Data Analysis, and Knowledge Organization' by Springer-Verlag. The research papers of the 3rd and the 4th Symposium will also be published by Springer-Verlag. We are looking forward to meeting all of you here at Kyoto. |
