In this research area, we provide education and research guidance with a focus on methodology of analyzing diverse, complex and fuzzy phenomena regarding culture and society; how to properly generate computational simulation results and quantitative and qualitative data, using cutting-edge information devices; basic techniques for analyzing culture such as probability statistics, multivariate data analysis, optimal estimation theory, and graph theory; and advanced methods of analyzing obtained data.
